Standard Cedar Hills clean is a twenty-five-to-thirty foot vent run climbing from a main-floor or second-floor laundry through interior walls to a roof exit on a moderate-to-steep pitch. The lint sits at the second-floor ceiling bend. Standard cleaning equipment can't reach it. You need a long-reach kit or you're cleaning the wrong half of the line.
