Suncrest
Top-of-bench Draper community, premium homes, exposed wind.
Suncrest is the top-of-bench Draper neighborhood, sited at the highest residential elevation in Salt Lake County. Most homes here are larger custom and semi-custom builds from the 2000s and 2010s, on sloped lots with valley views. Wind exposure at Suncrest is significant. The neighborhood catches everything that comes over the Point of the Mountain.
Standard Suncrest run: twenty to thirty feet through interior walls to a roof exit. The notable thing about Suncrest isn't the vent run. It's the exterior cover. Standard plastic vent covers up here fail faster than almost anywhere else we work. Point of the Mountain wind takes the flaps apart in five or six years. Magnetic-flap lifetime-warranty replacement is easily the most-installed add-on in Suncrest.
